Kayla deLancey
Preschool teacher Kayla deLancey has a kind and energetic approach to teaching children and managing the classroom. She is the school’s 3-year-old preschool classroom teacher and provides excellent early education experiences that address a child’s natural instincts to be curious and playful. She has a Vermont State teaching license with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education and has worked at Leap Frog Nursery School developing curriculum and educating students since 2012.
Miss Kayla lives in Poultney with her family and enjoys spending time with her family and friends at local events, her children’s school activities or during the summer at the family lake house on Lake Bomoseen. She also volunteers her time in the spring as an assistant coach to her sons’ T ball team. Throughout her years at Leap Frog Nursery School, Ms. deLancey has continued to expand on her engaging preschool lessons and provide the youngest students with creative play-based learning using a variety of fun lessons.
