Douglas Orchard
Since 1898 the Douglas family has owned Douglas Orchards only recently did thy pass ownership to the Suhr family. The 180 acres of land provides orchard space for many types of apples, pears, strawberries, and cherries.

The Pember Museum
The Pember Museum is a natural history museum located in Granville, New York. The museum displays many fascinating artifacts that kids love. Some artifacts within the Pember Museum are from Franklin Pembers personal collection he gathered during his days as a world traveler.

Hathaway Farms
Hathaway farms has provided wonderful family adventures for 20 years now with their yearly corn maze. In 1942 the Hathaways took over the farm and until 1986 they raised Dairy cows. Today both the barn and the farm house are on the National Historic Registry, and the Hathaway farm raises beef cows and produce maple syrup. Even more impressive is that this local icon has previously made it onto the “Kidventurous” top 10 list of of corn mazes in the country!!

Wonderfeet Kids’s Museum
Wonderfeet Kids' Museum is located in downtown Rutland. The museum fosters curiosity and exploration, inspires creativity, and ignites the imagination of every child through the power of play. Through hands-on exhibits and interactive experiences, children are encouraged to learn, explore, and discover while having fun with their classmates. The museum provides an exciting field trip that supports early learning through play.

The Museum is made up of numerous interactive and engaging exhibits including:
A farm and farmers market
A playground
Train and Train depot
As well as sponsored exhibits such as Casella recycling truck and Heritage Family Credit Union
Exhibits rotate seasonally check their website to stay up to date
